Big Nose George Parrot was a cattle rustler in the wild west. After he and his accomplices were hanged for killing two Lawmen, Parrot’s skin was used to make a pair of shoes and a medical bag. John Eugene Osborne wore the shoes to his inaugural ball after being elected as the first governor of Wyoming, and the first female doctor in Wyoming used his skull as an ash tray, a pen holder and a doorstop. Those were different times.
